Her career so far has taken her from design in point of sale to interiors and architecture. She believes that design is really about understanding and connecting people with the world around them; whether its products, services or the built environment. What is key is understanding and involving people in the design process and helping to provide relevant and fun new ideas.
She currently has a dual role as a researcher at the University of Nottingham and Senior Lecturer in 3D Design and contextual studies at Nottingham Trent University. This allows her to build partnerships with creative and commerical industries and mentor young talent within the various disciplines.
